Biography

Dr. Jean Côté is a full professor of civil engineering and a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada since 2019. He has recognized expertise in heat and water transfer in civil engineering infrastructures (dams, roads, mines). His work provides a better understanding of freezing and flow issues in porous media, and leads to the development of design methods for sustainable infrastructures that are resilient in the face of climate change.
